thanks for everyones help, i think i'll either buy some stamps from the autralian post office website or get some money changed :)

The Australian post office appear to sell stamps on their website, I've not had time to check if they post them overseas (the Canadian post office do), but assuming that they do I'd buy them through there.

IRCs are not only a pain in the bottom to track down, they are ridiculously overpriced even if you can.

Hey, I live in the uk and I want to send a letter to Australia, but I don't know what to do about the return postage as when I went to my post office they said they don't sell IRCs. Ive sent to America before and just put a dollar in a that worked. What should I do?
