An SASE is a stamped, self addressed envelope. If you are sending a request overseas, it is unlikely that you will have the relevant country's postage for the celebrity to return your photo.

That is why the IRC is used. The celebrity will trade the IRC for stamps to put on your self addressed envelope (SAE), thus making it a SASE.

Only put postage on the envelope that will include everything inside (letter, IRC's and SAE)

i just send an SAE and a couple of IRC's and it always works for me!

hi im just a bit confused , when sending out overseas, do you still put postage on the SASE aswell as an IRC?
