I like soft gloss. I don't like the matte feel. Soft gloss doesn't smudge/fingerprint like regular gloss does. I found it in a kodak brand but I use an HP printer to print it all myself. :)

I prefer matte. Glossy photos gets finger prints all over them. I don't have that problem with matte photos. And I like the look of matte photos better.

Always get my photos printed on matte for the very reason everyone stated... no smudging!

I'd go with matte too. I have not had a problem with people signing on matte photos but on glossy it sometimes gets messed up.

Jaffer, some online printing services offer the choice of matte, but gloss is normally the default choice pay to ask/ look for options. If you're printing yourself, shops like Staples etc usually offer reams of matte paper to order.

One last question. Im going to be buying alot of photos to send out, im wondering which type of photo is better for autographing? matte photos? or glossy photos?
