I don't know if this helps you, but glossy may smear, just depending on how the person signs. If I suggest, try to find "Soft Gloss" (I found this for a kodak printer, but I just use it on my regular HP printer), because it still adds a little shine but it's also kind of sturdy. Matte finish is probably also a good choice.

You can send on regular paper, but it may end up looking weird when the autograph is signed. I'm sure people have sent regular paper and gotten returns just fine. :) If you want to print, I suggest maybe making an index card? Finding a magazine photo?

Then again it's always up to you. It's your preference and how you want your autograph to look. :D

Happy Collecting!

You don't NEED glossy paper, but it's a lot better than using computer paper. The marker won't bleed through on computer paper and the quality of the photo should seem better. But it doesn't really matter.

Hope this helped! If you have any other questions, feel free to message me with any other questions.
