Sure! you can send pictures of animated characters for them to sign!! I've got several animated character signed photos in my collection. they also might have photos of their characters already on hand and can send those out if you ask them politely and include a 9x12 SASE as most send out 8x10 photos. {up}

Sending Printed Off Pictures of Animated Characters?

Hi!

I'm relatively new to the TTM autograph world, and even newer to the TTM voice actor autograph world. Anyway, I'd really like to send something to my favourite voice actor to sign (the inside booklet of one of the DVDs), but I'd really also like to send something to see if it can get signed for my penpal, who is also a huge fan. Anyway, my question is: I don't have another piece memorabilia to send (sadly lost my cards for it long ago), and was just wondering if it was all right to send a photo centre printoff of the character to a voice actor?

I was reading some of the threads regarding copyright and how most actors will sign anyway, but I'm assuming those were about actual actor pictures, and for some reason my mind thinks that sending a picture of an animated character screams copyright infringement far louder than pictures of actual people.

What's the general concensus on it around here?

Thanks!
