I usually put 4, and I'm inside the US. I would say 5 if you want it to get back to you. Best tp play it safe.

I sent three 4x6 photos in a standard envelope with about 3 Forever Stamps. I say 3 is good for you!

hey guys, how many forever stamps do i need to put on a envelope to USA, since i live in portugal (Europe) ?
usually i send two photos 15x20 cm or A4 size (it's kinda like 8x10) and a LOR inside.
can you help?
