That is not only my opinion. For some reason most of the posts telling the truth about what is really going on with this forum are always deleted. But that is just what 80% of the people that read this forum already knows anyway. Everyone over looks the angry posts about these garbage email successes calling those people trolls. When they are just saying the real facts. There is a real shady scam that goes on with email addresses on this forum. Strangely people claim they won't give them away but less then a week later that impossible rare email success is posted by another user and then another user. They gotta make sure that only the Black Skulls of this forum get those autographs after all. :lol:

For every free autograph that everyone on here got. It is guaranteed many others also found that email and got it.

yeah, u are right! An example for something like that is this:
I have the email of Cory Monteith and i have his autograph too but a few weeks ago i sent a SAE to the address in database and now im waiting for a reply. Im a huge fan of Glee, specially Cory!!
That's why i want Cory to read my letter, im not only interested in the signature :mrgreen:

To put it simply, there's members on here who collect for the wrong reasons. They see autographs via email as an easy way to 'boost' there collection, and don't care of their a fan of that person or not. so long as they get a signed photo without little or no effort.

A member some time ago, use to email everyone he could find & then make videos of the successe he got, and couldn't name half the people he requested from, he'd sit there & go 'Not sure who this is, but it's nice'. :neutral:

There have also been a couple cases in the past of celebrities finding this website and figuring out why they suddenly are getting bombarded with requests. and they were not happy.

I see members on here selling photos they got via email all the time, and that makes a lot of collectors mad as well. making money off of something that was given to them for free. {down}

I'm not against emailing for autographs at all, but I personally do not give them out & don't write to EVERY email I find. If i'm not a fan, I don't write. I see no need to have names in my collection that mean nothing to me, when there's trues fans of that person who would enjoy one.

And finally, if you look at the forum statistics, it shows there is currently 34,386 registered members who have been on this site at one time or another, and that's not including all the people who just troll, but don't register & can see the same information. so if we start posting emails freely, EVERYONE can see it, and even if 5% of people sent to it, that's almost 2,000 emails right there. :shock: which you can guarantee no celebrity is going to reply to that many.

I may be a new member, so I don't know too much on how this site runs, but many people get their autographs via email, I do as well and I prefer that because it is easier and free.

On the forum, I see that some people do not give out the email addresses and I don't understand why, I thought this forum was to help people get more autographs.

This is not a direct offense to any member, but I have seen many posts stating "I got this autograph from email - no I will not give out the email," and it is frustrating. I look online a lot for these email addresses and am unable to find any or if I do, I tell people. Wouldn't it save time to just tell what the email address is, so that someone won't be running around the web to find this email address?
Because people don't get this forum. If I had an email address I would share it. The problem why people don't give out email address is because the emails get spammed and people request autographs just to request them. They sell them online, don't even want that autograph, etc. But all you have to do is type up top on the search bar email success and you will see all the email success's that are out there. I just started last year and got most of the email success's thru there and got the ones that I wanted. I didn't go crazy and send an email to every person. Good luck.
