How to get autographs on Bowman Chrome cards?

Is there any way to get autographs on Bowman Chrome cards TTM without smearing? When I send out regular Topps cards I use an eraser to take the gloss off and they usually come back perfect. (I had a very, very tiny smear on one but not really noticeable.) Has anyone had success with Chrome cards? Thanks :)
