Thanks, never thought of that.

Hi fellow UK collector!

I get U.S. dollars from the post office and send 2-3 dollars in each request (2 dollars for a small to A4 envelope, 3 dollars for A4 envelope that has more than 2 photos and/or extra stuff).

One of those stamps would be good for an A4 envelope. {up}

Thanks for the reply.

I either send Blu Ray slips to be signed or A4 posters. So if I someone was sending back an A4 card backed envelope with an A4 poster inside weighing no more than 100 grams, how many of these would need to be on the envelope?

A lot of them will purchase 'airmail' postage stamps from collectors in the USA. which is what we in the USA use when we send requests to the UK. {up} They cost $1.05 each.

UK Collector - Alternative to IRC's?

by geebs2006 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 8:48 pm

I am a fairly new autograph collector based in the UK collecting Movie and TV show autographs and have mainly sending letters to British Actors/Actresses.

I have been resisting the urge to send to some of my fave American actors/actresses but can't anymore as I have seen some great successes on here.

My only problem is that I see Royal Mail no longer do IRC's. How do other UK collectors send autograph requests to America with return postage?

Many thanks for any help/advice given.
