Anyone at all??lol :(

Hi everyone,
I saw contact information for the management of a local band here in Trinidad and I got the idea of contacting them maybe requesting or hoping that they come to my school event.First of all,it's actually my school prom that's coming up very soon.Also, ever year my school calls our prom event the name of a song from the band..Like this year they called it"Precision" because it's the name of a song.However , for our prom the students have to arrange it by themselves because the of the school's religion the teachers etc aren't allowed to participate in this.They only arrange a dinner..To top it off,I've entered my school in a contest where we win a local performer( unknown but possibly this band) to our prom but currently we are 3rd and need 1000 + votes to win..So i gave up my hopes for that contest :cry: . So I got the idea to contact management and let them know that we are huge fans( the event name says it all) and I could mention everything I said above that may encourage them. {up} {up}

Would anyone give me advice on how I should approach this and help me to write out this email without making it be too "sad story like" or "demanding" .I've checked their schedule for tours and they are free..but I only have a few weeks till prom.Thanks for any help given :)
