Post office would not allow me to use them.

Oddly enough they stick fine! I am just hoping they will work and not get sent back. We'll see! May just have to run into the post office and ask.

It's kind of iffy to try and use them. If something spilled on them, they might not stick anymore and the postal service will not accept stamps that are taped onto envelopes. But as someone else mentioned, as long as you can read the value of the stamp then they might be just fine to use. It is up to you if you want to try! The worst that could happen is that your envelope gets sent back and you would just have to put new stamps on then.

Yes, really they just look wet or stained from the oil, other than that they are fine.
Do you have a photo?

Try cleaning them with a moist cotton wool ball

Question about stamps.

I am not sure if this is the right forum, so if it is not mods feel free to move it.

I keep forgetting to ask everytime I go to the post office so maybe one of you guys will know...

I have some forever stamps that were left in my kitchen (why? I have no idea) and they got oil all over them and are stained. Can I still use them or is there a chance they will not send my letter coz the stamp is damaged? It got all over the entire sheet of stamps except maybe three or four so thats 16 stamps I am unsure I can use...

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
