sometimes if you ask a person they will send it with stamps from their country or you could give them some cash like 5 bucks to buy stamps

ok,so i have many people that live in the usa and canada that i would like their autographs,although i live in the uk. i heard that i can send IRC but my post office has never heard of them! ive been 3 times and none of the workers have,so i had a look on here and saw some people send dollars in with their requests,can i do that? if so how much should i send and should i send my own envelope?
