Good points {up} My handwriting is also the other reason I type mine :wink:

It is really important to personally sign your letters - even if you type them :wink: - No scanned sigs {nonono}

I also type my requests because my handwriting is sloppy, but in addition to doing all of the things already mentioned (especially personalizing the letter and avoiding a form letter), I would also recommending signing the letter with your signature in pen.

Exactly. There's nothing wrong with typing a letter as opposed to writing it by hand. You just have to make sure that it doesn't sound like you've filled in blanks in a form letter. You have to make each letter you type sound original and personal, as if you mean it.

If not, a celebrity may toss your letter aside in the other hundreds or thousands of letters they may receive. You have to make your letter stand out.

Greendaygirl basically answered your question, but I would like to add that if you are going to type, try and make your letter sound individualized to that certain celebrity and not a forum letter. It would increase your chances of getting a response.

I think it's ok to type a letter to celebrities. Celebrities don't care if it's hand written or typed. There is a way to make your own envelopes. If you use Microsoft word, inside there is a place where you are able to type the address to the person, and your return address. I hope this answres your questions. Good Luck!!!!
