Check the Via Venue thread, there's a list of bands who have been known to sign VV, and also a list of Venues that pass along fanmail.

I've only sent one to The Killers via The Orange Peel in NC on July 19th. I tried emailing before sending it to make sure that they still pass mail along, but didnt' get a response so I sent it anyway. I emailed again a little while after the venue to make sure they passed my mail to TK tour manager, and got a nice response confirming that they did.

I included a pic, LOR, SASE, and a few CD covers (with a note saying they didnt have to sign everything if they didn't want to) as well as a Sharpie marker, figuring that they might just decide to sign if they had the proper writing instrument available immediately. ;)

I've yet to receive anything but TK are in Europe so I'm hoping that's why they haven't sent my mail back.

Does anyone on here send requests to concert halls/gig venues that they know that for example a band is playing at for a night or two? Do people get successes if so?!
