I bought Australian stamps off the Australian Post website for any requests I send there.

Someone from Australia might be able to help you with regard to how much postage you would need

Sending 8x10s to Australia HELP

by xxanasazixx » Thu Sep 13, 2012 6:41 am

Hello,

i was hoping to send a bubble envelope, with a couple of 8x10's inside plus a Self addressed envelope inside, to an actor that is located in Australia.

I do believe that I need an IRC if im not mistaken. im just a little curious on how it works if im sending it out of country from the US.

Can I send the bubble envelope with everything inside (pictures, letter and Self addressed envelope) with US stamps, (say 4-5 of them depending on the weight)?

Also, the self addressed envelope inside must have an IRC on it as well correct? (can i purchase this at a post office?) I also read something on here that Australia values their IRCs very high,

("IRCs are valued extraordinarily high in Australia - a single IRC can cover 50g of weight, more than enough for a single 8x10.") So does that mean I will only need one on my envelope?

Thanks!
