when sending vv i usually send a couple weeks in advance, and i contact the venue first to make sure they pass on fanmail, you can visit their official website and there should be a contact button if you have any question i also visit this link for venues who do and dont pass on fanmail...www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=24711

It is also helpful to email the venue (if possible) and ask if they will pass the mail onto the performer.

I have yet to send to a concert venue for an autograph. How long before the date of the concert should I mail it? I was figuring at least 5 days. Does anyone out there who has experience with Via Venue have a better suggestion? The concert date is Oct 10th. So I was guessing around the 4th (including the weekend)?? Thanks to anyone who replies.
