2. Which is better to include for reply postage? IRCs or cash? Or is there some way to buy British stamps in America?

3. Also, do I need to write "air mail" on my envelope? I have seen others do it, but doesn't all mail to the UK from the US travel via air mail?

Any reply is greatly appreciated. I'm new at this!

I just calculated the price on usps.com ... It would cost $1.75 for a large (6x9) envelope to the U.K. Weighing up to 1 ounce.

ADDRESSEE WILL PAY POSTAGE" on the front... its rubbish! :( so if I were you, I'd try and get British stamps :)

as for the other questions, I dont know, sorry, but good luck :)

Ok, thanks so much! You saved me a whole lot of trouble! :)
