It means the address is wrong

If the person handed it back to the Mailman wouldnt it have had RTS Refused/Rejected instead?

Means either your address is wrong or they dont accept "junkmail" or unknown letters at their private address so they give them back to the mailman.

ok ive sent off autographs so current accurate private celebs home addresses and got back a couple rts with attempt not known on the envelope. what does that mean?
