[agree] with tinker_mel and London Bombings Charity. It probably depends more on who the person is, and what they are working on at the time, but I think they might also pass the mail onto the celebrity too, so that could add some time.

If what you're doing is working, don't stop! :P I'm sure they all love getting really nice decorated letters once in a while as opposed to the simple letters I'm sure alot of people send.

I think it just depends on the celeb and their projects etc at that time :mrgreen:

It is probably becuase instead of an agent putting a photo in the envelope, they pass the letter actually to the celeb {up}

I would say the reason is, they see the amount of work you put in to your letter, envelope, etc and realize that you must like them an awful lot to take all that extra time on your letter. A letter like that probably means more to them then one they get simply asking for an autograph.

Plus one that is decorates gets their attention more then an undecorated one.

I'm not trying to say decorating your letter, envelope etc you will get a better response. Take your time write a nice letter and maybe add a few stickers and things like that, show then that you care.

I hope that helps.

Better Letters = longer response time?

I was wondering if this is just my imagination or if anyone else has experienced this. When I write a really good letter, decorate it, design the envelope, etc. it takes much much longer to get a reply. Most of the time I get hand-written letters thanking me for such nice letters, is that why it take longer? When I just send basic letters, in pen or pencil with no decoration or flare, it seems that they get here a lot faster, but less personal responses.

What do you think?
