Sending to a Concert/Venue

Hi,

I want to send a picture to Muse to be signed, and I heard that if I send to an arena or other venue where the band is playing that it is my best bet of getting a signature back. I have tickets to the concert in New Jersey for this coming April, so I'm thinking of sending to that arena. Here are my questions:

-How far in advance should I send the picture?
-Should I try sending to a different venue before mine to see if I get anything back earlier?
-How would I ensure that the venue holds/delivers the picture to the band?
