Generally one 1st class stamp for the letter to Manchester and two for the one to Germany, but there are size/weight bands so you'd have to check.

Hey I'm in the UK and Ive never sent anything before via post.
Was wondering how many first class stamps I would put on a letter from Glasgow to Manchester?

Also, how many first class stamps would I put on a letter from Glasgow to Germany?
