Hello! I'm suuuuper new to the art of sending fan mail to receive autographs, so I have kind of a weird question.
Would it be strange to send a letter beforehand, perhaps with an index card to sign or something, to ensure that the mail is going to the correct address, before sending something like a DVD case or some other memorabilia? There are a few DVD or VHS covers I'd love to have signed, but obviously if I send them out and they're lost forever or signed by a fake, I'm going to be really upset... Advice?
