For example, Debby Ryan said on her website to include two IRCs. So would that be good?

Well, Stamp collecting is also vey popular and educational past time. There are many types of stamps like office stamps from letters, especially those from other countries. One looking for stamps may not go further, here is good information.

I buy american stamps on ebay, when I began collecting I did the dollar method though, its not great for via venue however ;-)
I haven't sent to any via venue in america yet :)

I use the $1.05 stamps on my baseball / hockey / american football requests because the letters don't weigh much.
But I'm sending $$ with my 5x7 requests as the packages are heavier

ohh thanks. I've had US International Stamps before which have worked, I've just ran out of them now, so I've been putting $3 in with each request, and explaining why in the letter

I use the Dollar method for almost all my successes as im from the UK too

I dont notice a time difference from sending dollars to stamps as im sure celebs agents have stamps laying around or the celeb could send a PA to Buy a sheet of stamps

Ive had lots of celebs actually pay extra postage for my autogrraph to come to me which is super nice of them.

when writing my LOR i always say i have included some dollars to cover postage as i am from the UK i hope this is enough.

My favorite is Melissa Joan Hart who states on her website to include at least $2 worth of postage and a 8X10 SASE which i didnt on both counts and she still send me an Autograph!
