I an new here and to the hobby. I would like to know if I send someone a poster, baseball, magazine, etc with return postage, will the celebrity still autograph for me?

I would really like to gather some of these autographs for the office but do not want a standard photo they send, or what not.
I would like to send Baseball cards, baseballs, bats, posters, etc

Does anyone have experience? Also, I see people post that they sent $ for the autograph as well. How does that work?
