Tackar!

Thanks everyone for all your help, I will be sure to come back with a note if I had any success ;)

Oh, I had one sent from Charmed, but haven't scanned it yet, it's pretty!
I'll see if the adress I used is in the database here :)

Välkommen! (ja vi svenskar & norskar förstår väl varandra någorlunda? ;))

I don't know how it's about Norway... You can't buy IRCs in Sweden anyway. So if you can't buy IRSs, you can try to find US stamps somewhere! (I know you got this problem solved, but I mean in the future). Or if you want to send to England, you could try to find English stamps. I can't buy IRCs, so I just buy stamps from a guy who has a store and I think he collects stamps or something like that... Anyway I'm happy I can buy stamps, while I can send out SASEs! =)

edit: 20 gram envelope, USA to Sweden costs 0.84$. I think it's the same to norway!

Lycka till med brevet!

Tnx!

Hi Vibeke :D

Yeah, it's much better to send it while you're in the US because it'll be cheaper. I'd also suggest you purchase stamps to stick on your SAE too, so you don't waste money on IRC's.

While you're at it, I'd also suggest possibly stocking up on stamps so you can use them on your SAE's when you get back. It'll save you a lot of money instead of purchasing so many IRC's.

Have fun!

Thanks for the welcome, and yes that DID help..

Kinda like a moron now, I was thinking of sending it before we leave to USA on saturday

But I can just send it from there :S

Thanks again for your help!

Hi Vibeke :D

Welcome to the forum!

Now, here's what you need to do:

1. On the envelope addressed to the celebrity you wish to send to, stick enough Norwegian stamps on the envelope so you can post it off.

2. In the envelope put your letter, photos (optional), your SAE and enough IRC's to cover postage from the US to Norway. Do not stick any Norwegian stamps onto your SAE, as the US Postal System does not accept foreign stamps. However, if you can get US stamps, you can stick the stamps on the SAE and not send IRC's.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

SAE or SASE from Norway to USA..?

by Vibeke » Tue Apr 11, 2006 11:10 am

Hi, I*m all new here and have been trying to read the sticky's posted, but couldn't find the right answer, so I try to ask here :)

I live in Norway, and want to send for a signed photo in America..
What would be the best thing to do - send only a SAE ?

It wouldn't be so smart to stick on a bunch of norwegian stamps on a letter that is being sent from USA , right?

I hope someone can help me out
