Anytime I am sending from the U.S. to the U.K. I go to the teller at the post office and have them weigh it to ensure that it's paid for correctly. Usually it's $2 or $3. On the SASE (I probably over-stamp it), but I put 3 or 3 first class UK stamps on it. Good luck!

I did some searching on google and most were saying 3 stamps, but I think the P.O is the best bet!
