thanks for that chart!
the envelopes i use are 9x12 and i usually have a piece of cardboard (not too thinck inside)... i am going to try to see if my post office knows how many, cuz I only have 5 of them and need to send 2 letters! does anyone know if you can buy US stamps in Canada?

heres the chart

To mail FROM the USA TO Canada:
$0.63 10g (.35 oz)
$0.63 20g (.70 oz)
$0.90 40g (1.40 oz)
$1.15 60g (2.10 oz)
$1.15 80g (2.80 oz)
$1.40 100g (3.50 oz)

a photo and large envelope weigh more then 20g

I would definitly use 3 stamps because if you send a 9x 12 envelope in the US to someplace in the US it cost two stamps. I was always told you need more stamps if the letter is leaving the country so since its going back to Canada, you should need 3 stamps.
