Well, I think you'll be fine with only 2. Some celebs do pay the extra postage for you - I've seen a lot of that. I live in the US and when I mail to Canada, I just put $3 or so in the envelope to pay for postage for the return. I do have some UK postage and I think I over-stamp those SASE with 3-4 stamps. The PO may let it slide. I think that more than likely, your SASE will return to you alright! Good luck!

Wrong number of stamps?

Hello,
I recently wrote to Jane Fonda and Warren Beatty and included a SASE inside both envelopes.

I live in Canada, so it was rather difficult to find American stamps to put on the SASE so they can mail me back, but I managed to get my hands on 4 46 cent american stamps, so I put two on each SASE and mailed it away.

However, it came to my attention that you will most likely need at least 3 american stamps to mail to Canada....
Has this every happened to anybody before, and if so what was the result??

Some people say that this is very common, and the celebrities secretary (or whoever mails the response) would add the extra stamp. OR they will mail it with just the 2 stamps and the postal service will "let it slide" because I'm only missing one stamp.

I don't know what to believe, haha.
