It is $2.20 for that size envelope from here in Canada to the u.s. You are correct, As long as it is under 100g $2.20 is the correct postage from Canada to the U.S.

Non-standard and Oversize Letter-Post
Up to 100g
$2.20
Prices sending from US to Canada won't matter in this calculation, since you are wanting Canada to US prices, two different postal companies as you know. What USPS charged you to send to Canada doesn't matter when you are wanting to know what Canada Post will charge to send to the US.
Correct, but it hasn't helped in my confusion about costs because the same US post office charged me two different prices for the same items and I'm concerned the same thing might happen going the other way.

Can anyone else confirm the true cost of this?

What is the correct postage to put on the SASE coming back from Canada to the US? It's a 9x12 envelope weighing approx 73g or 2.5 oz. I checked the Canadapost site and it says 50-100g to the US is $2.20. I've seen different answers here regarding this recently so now I'm confused. Adding to the confusion, I sent 2 different letters to Canada on 2 different occasions, each identical in size and weight, and was charged 2 different prices.

I have the Canadian $1.10 stamps for my return SASE, and thought 2 per return letter ($2.20 total) was enough. Is that right?
