You could look and see if anybody is offering spanish stamps/ post a wanted ad in the Exchange & Sale section of this forum.
Or Spain has the EURO so include a well concealed 5EURO note, available instantly from many Post Offices :)
For your letter to Spain you need to weigh it and find out the postage price (or have the Post Office do it for you). Then you can use any stamps as long as the value meets/exceeds that price or the PO will be able to provide a specific value stamp.

(I've been to my post office to ask, but they had no idea of the best way to send this)

I want to send a letter, autograph request & SASE to Spain. I presume I just put an airmail stamp on the letter going to Spain. But, what do I do with the SASE?

The UK doesn't sell IRCs, so I'd like to know what's worked for you in the past?
