Hey there,

OK I live in England and our postal service is stupid, I recently sent off to Ewan McGregor and purchased an A4 (C4) envelope and A5 (C5) for the SAE return I had to buy the following stampsl

1st Class Large (for the C4)
1st Class (for the C5)

These only just covered for the postage apparently

Here the link from Royal Mail website price checker

International Mail to Canada, weight 29 grams, with a 60 day return value

You should have to use international postages. They may be different than local. It is not easy to get postages. However, I have a way and I am making on-line postages myself through http://www.howtoprintpostage.com . It is a better way to get better postage stamps.

What you can do is use the British Royal Mail online postage service, which lets you buy the postage to print yourself,
of course you will need to have a printer. You can find it here. Just fill in the information as if you are the actor.
That is incorrect.

All postage printed from the RM website is time sensitive, I believe it must be used within 1 day so absolutely no good for fanmail {up}

Can I use Online Postage from outside the UK?
Online Postage is only designed for customers purchasing stamps in the UK and posting items from there.
What happens if I don’t use my postage by the ‘Post by’ date?
The ‘Post by’ date is always the next working day after the day you make your Online Postage purchase. After this, your postage will not be valid <snip>

As to the OP there are a ton of people who have already asked (and been answered) your questions, so some searching on this section of the forum should find you what you need.

There is also a Autograph Exchange/Sale and a Wanted section where you can look for stamp sellers or post a wanted.

The poster before me has also linked to the Royal Mail price calculator.

I have a terrible success rate and I imagine it has something to do with the fact that while I am sending over US money, there are those who prefer British postage to make it all that easier. I completely understand, that is why I am asking you this question.
My question is: Can anyone please tell me how I can obtain postage, enough for a one ounce returned envelope with the contents to make it back to the US?
Please, and thank you.
