where I put my autographs

by rob234111 » Sat Jun 17, 2006 2:35 pm

I keep mine in 3 ring binders that I store on my dresser, I have about 23 in total right now. I've only got 1 autograph up on my wall which is a sign poster from the movie Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets that is signed by Emma Watson ( my cousin), Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, and Fiona Shaw. I got it for Christmas the year CoS came out.

I have mine in plastic sleeves in a binder... I wonder will the autograph be damaged if they are put in all-covering plastic sleeves? I mean, it's an a4 plastic sleeves which are "whole on both sides", and ju put the autograph between the plastic walls. Maybe the autograph will be "copied" to the plastic?

I use a special scrapbook for the autographs, but the most important [biggest stars, my personal favourites, name dedications] are on the wall in a special glass boxes.
Yeah, I'm a maniac :)

Framing autographs and putting them up on your wall may damage it as the sunlight will make it fade as time goes by. I keep my autos in an alubm, which you buy plastic corners to place on each corner of the picture, then you can stick it down in the album - no markings, no sticky marks, 100% perfect condition from then on.

I keep mine in a 3-ring binder with plastic slip covers. And I got everything at the dollar store. But I do have a few of my favourites in picture frames so when I have my room designed, I will have a wall!

Well, it you want to hang them on a wall, I would just get some fames and hang em' on up! But if you'd rather go with a binder (which is what I do) then I would get a 3 inch binder about 1 inch, maybe 1 1/2 and then clear sleeves and just put your picture in. Either way is just as good as the other, it just depends on what you prefer!
