Everything you need to know can be found on the Royal Mail website.

Price calculator and stamp values are all there.

The difference between letter stamps and large letter stamps is they are for different price bands for UK domestic mail. Any combo of these can be used on Airmail items as long as the value meets or exceeds the postage cost.

As a warning if your return item is more than 5mm thick it can't go as a letter but will need to go small packet. This is much more expensive, around £3.50 I think. The calculator will tell you.

There's a whole thread for this and this question has been asked many MANY times.

Return Postage from UK to USA

I know there are threads everywhere for this, so please don't blaspheme me.

Ok, I live in the United States and I want to send some mail to the UK and I need to know a roundabout what the return postage would be.

I would say the envelope weighs about 60 grams and is an 8X10 inch envelope.

If I were to buy UK stamps, about how many would I need to put on an envelope of that size and weight, also what are the differences between the regular stamps and the large letter stamps available on the Royal Mail website?
