Thanks for your help Ian!!

Trust me, if I am successful you will know because this would be my dream autograph. (I am sending to Eric Clapton) So I will be over the moon if he responds!!!!!

Hi Mama2Benji {up}

Welcome to Fanmail.biz :P

You want to try to get your request to arrive no more than about 3 days before the celeb is due at the venue otherwise you risk getting your letter returned as an RTS (return to sender).

What I usually do, is mark my envelope on the front to the effect of: "please hold for (whoever) on (date)". It has worked for me so far :wink:

Best of luck, and please remember to let us know how you get on :P

Sending a request via venue

Hi all, I am new here, and first must say that this is a GREAT forum!!!!

I want to send an autograph request via-venue to someone, I know he is on tour right now and will be for most the rest of the year. My question is, when you send via-venue to a singer on a tour, how far in advance should you send it? I want to make sure that it gets to him, but doesn't miss him.

Thanks in advance!!!!
