You can use the regular Large Envelope (9 x 12 in.) to receive mail back from the UK - I have used one every time and it has never failed. As for the amount of 1st Class stamps, that is more personal preference, but I always use 6. It's probably too many, but it never hurts to be extra sure :) Though, make sure to never use less than 4!

USA to UK back to USA question

Hello! New here.

I've been trying to wrap my head around getting a SASE to the UK from the US back to me and the royalmail website is about as clear as mud.

It seems that international letters from the UK don't cover large letters... so would I not be able to send the usual 10x8inches SASE to be sent back to me? The maximum sizes I'm seeing are 24cm by 16.5cm (roughly ~9inches by ~6inches?) for international?

Also, looking at the prices, 100g for the before listed size is 2.02£. 1st class royal stamps are worth 62pence. So I would need 4 1st class royal stamps to cover the cost, correct?

Thank you all so much, I just want to make sure I have the right info before potentially wasting money for my first LOR. :)
