I did the same thing with a couple to Canada. Put in $2.00 and hoped for the best. Although I did tell Lexa Doig that if it was too much trouble then use the money to buy herself a candy bar. I haven't heard back yet so I'm interested to see how it turns out. My only concern with yours is that $10.00 may not be enough. But good luck, I hope it works for you.
