I totally agree with cernan {up}

To reiterate though, you really need to be putting your autos into individual acid-free sleeves before you put them in the box, so that they do not rub against each other.

The biggest danger is that the signatures might get scratched otherwise, especially if they are signed in metallic pen :?

I think that it would be fine. However, you would need to have some sort of protection such as sheet protectors or sleeves for the autographs to be safe. As for the box, I believe that it would be fine as long as you store it in a dry and cool place.

Hi there,

I have about 35 autographs currently in normal plastic wallets. I was wondering if it would be damaging to them to take them out of the wallets, and then keep them a CD file box with a lid on, like this:
