If you find out the cost of an airmail letter from Austria (weight up to 20g) then that should be the answer.

Does anyone know the value of an IRC in Austria?

The dual tube idea is good. I was thinking of including a pre-printed adhesive label that could easily be stuck on.
Normally I wouldn't have something of this size be sent to autograph, but I could do with a couple of posters on the walls! And Niki has a good reputation of signing things.
Thanks a lot,

That sounds great, my main thought when sending is just to make it as easy as possibly for the person.

Good luck, I look forward to seeing your success.

Personally I would send it in a tube, inside another tube to save them having to spend excess time addressing and stamping a single tube and add as many return stamps as required.

Shipping poster to Austria

Hello,
I'd like to send a poster to Niki Lauda in Austria to get it signed. I live in Italy.
The dimensions are 50*75cm, so rather big.
The Austrian post service is decent and will only charge €13, as long as I keep it 1cm thick, however the problem arises here in Italy; I'd have to send it as a parcel, which would cost me a whopping €35!
Does anyone know if a private courier, such as DHL or UPS, would be cheaper?
My other option would be to put it in a tube.
Also, to let Niki return it without paying (Not that he really needs to), I'd have to include an awful lot of IRCs, correct?
Thank you all very much,
Joseph
