I agree with kimmylee

Keep in mind that things can get lost in the mail/with the agent. It can also depend on the agent/manager. I wrote to one address and didn't get a reply, but when I wrote the other representive I got a great response back fast!

Wow that is a really good question.

I suppose it depends on how badly you want the autograph?

For example I may have sent to an agency some time ago, but see the celeb i really want will be doing a show. So in that case I would probably try VV because I feel there is a good chance of success.

But otherwise I really don't know, I have seen reports of success as long as 5 years after sending, and one of mine was about 3 years, I couldn't believe it had actually come back!

How long should one wait before assuming that an attempt has failed and trying again with a different address? I've read some posts where people said they got something back over a year later.
