yeah i suppose it makes sense, its just very very annoying that royal mail seem to feel the need to raise their prices or in this case change it every few months. ah well, i suppose the woman down the local post office cant overcharge us any more cos she cant read her scales :lol:

tis a good thing im a tramp and havent thrown out my used stamp book :lol:

just read up, 1 first class stamp can be used on items up to 240mm long and 165mm wide, so you'll need more than one for an A4 size envelope, so hoorah for paying more for something which weighs exactly the same :roll: i thought it had been a long time since they hiked up their prices again...

I heard a while ago that Royal Mail is changing how they price mail.

They are going to be pricing mail from the size of the envelope rather than the weight of the item.

Is this already in force or is a new thing that has just been brought out?
