yes, It's definately a preprint, I have seen them. It seems they are taking a page out of the sportscards market with the raised signatures.

Hey Piper,

All I can tell you is that from my own experience, I have a Tiger Woods photo that has a raised gold stamped signature and I have also seen baseball cards with that style of print on them. So my guess would be yes that those do exist. The missing actor's name could be that the stamp was made before the actor joined the cast and they just haven't created a new stamp showing his credit. I hope this answers your question. :D Have a great and safe day!

Textured preprints?

by Piper » Wed Jul 26, 2006 5:53 am

I received a signed Invasion cast photo from Ariel Gade a few months back. The signatures are textured, but so are various parts of the photo (the letters in the Invasion logo are raised.) It's not an autopen, as there are signature trails on some of the autographs. Is there such a thing as a textured preprint?
Also, oddly, one of the actors' signatures is not on the picture.
