It really depends on what you want to do.

As for:

A) If you really want a specific character, by all means try to find decent pictures of them on the internet to send. However, if you can't find the pictures you want ... move onto option B.

B) If A doesn't work, then you should kindly request a photo of the specific character in question when you write your letter.

C) If you have undertaken option B, be happy with whatever picture you receive, even though it may not be the one you like.

I want to write a number of voice actors and request for an autographed picture of certain characters they've portrayed. Alot of Thundercats, Family Guy, and Simpsons people.

So,
A) Should I keep searching the web over and over again till I track down pictures of the characters?

B) Request the autograph, assuming they have them?

Or
C) Take whatever they give me?
