I don't completely understand your question but I will answer it as best as I can.

First I'm going to explain your example, los angeles, ca 90067.

los angeles - is the city
ca - is the state
90067 - is the zip code

You have to have the last line of the address for the letter to go where it needs to go.

Since you are talking about sending a letter to the U.S. from Australia, be sure to include the country. After you write the whole address write U.S.A. on the bottom line so the postal service will know where it's going.

this sounds stupid but, with addresses that people hav given out
you end it in somthin like
los angeles, ca 90067
or west town, pa 19395
on the actual envolope if sent from aus
we have to add the state and country dont we?
does it still send if we dont?
