I would also explain what you are requesting in your letter and maybe even why you are requesting it. I usually tell them something like "I understand your time is valuable and that you maintain a busy schedule so if you can accomodate this request, I have included a SASE to make this request as least time consuming as possible". I will then end it with something like "I sincerely thank you for your time and consideration" and that has worked very well for me so far! Best of luck to your request though.

The Office (the US version). I'm sending my dvd cover in hopes to recieve as many signitures as possible.

I've done a similar thing before. Just address the envelope like this:

Cast Members of "............."
c/o ............
..................
..................
..................
..................

You could indicate also on the envelope that it's enclosed.
What cast are you writting to?

I want to send a dvd cover to a whole tv show cast to sign. Is there anything I can write on the envelope to indicate that, or should I just put it in my letter that I'd like to request the cast sign it??
