So, Stephan, you're saying if I'm writing a letter in addition to the card, keep the card short? Thanks {up}

Nathan, I'm not sure of when you'll get this, so Happy early Birthday! Be good to yourself, stay great, and say Hi to Mel for me! (smiley face)

Always remember that you'll have fans forever.
Do you think it should be longer? I've never done this before, so I would like some advice. Thanks {up}
Dear Nicole,

since you are also requesting an autograph from Mr. Lane I'd also talk a bit about his previous work and how much you've loved it. Show him that you know his work.

However if you are planning on sending a letter and a nice birthday card, then I'd leave the short text in your birthday card.

Best,
Stephan

Dear Nicole,

that really depends on the celebrity you are writing to. I would not recommand to send birthday cards to any A-list stars (such as Johnny Depp, Julia Roberts, Madonna, etc.) since those stars won't get and read such birthday greetings.

It also depends on where (country) you want to send your birthday card to. For example my birthday is on September 18th and I'm living in Germany. So if you were planning on sending me a birthday card you should sent it off 1-2 weeks prior to my birthday.

I've experienced that a lot of vintage stars appreciate a lot to receive birthday greetings and most will even reply with a short note.

Since I know that you are a huge fan of matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane... well, Nathan Lane is really nice in person so I could imagine if you send a birthday card to his current play it might even get to him and he surely will be delighted. As for Matthew Broderick forget about him, he's very sought-after.

Best of luck,
Stephan

Very cool pics!!

Well, I still had to ask in a nice way, right? :D It's better than "I know you got the pics - show me!" :P

Dear Fatima,

that actually happened to a friend of mine. He designed his own rhinestone t-shirt for a Madonna show and Madonna did like his shirt so much that she had sent her manager Guy O'Leary to him after the show and ask him where he got the shiort from. When he said that it's unique Guy asked him if he could do another one for Madonna. He did so within a day, sent it to Guy's hotel and Madonna wore his t-shirt when she was in Rome earlier this month.

Best,
Stephan
Well, I didn't say it was impossible! ;) That must have been a great shirt :D You wouldn't have a picture of that shirt do you? :D
