I sent 3 to Julia Winter, but that was because I made two collages and wanted her to see them. She even signed them which was an added bonus. I also sent a promotion image that I wanted signing, she signed them all and then included 4 images of her own.

I think it depends on who you are sending the images to. I wouldn't recommend sending over 3 though.

Yes, I think too, 1-3 is the best to insert to your request.

i think it depends on how much you're paying to send the mail in the first place.

I live in England and so, when I send to people in the UK i send 1 photo because I can quite easily write again if i would like any more.

But if I write to the USA or Europe or Australia, I usually send 2/3 photo's because it costs alot to send and when you add the cost of an IRC on top of that it mounts up quickly. Especially if you only get £5 per week pocket money.

But thats just me personally

I try not to send more than 2. I'm afraid that if I send to many they may think I'm a seller. There have been a few times I've sent 3, maybe even 4 but those were times that I just could not decide between the photos. But, in those cases I would include in my letter that I didn't care if they signed all of them.

I agree with tinker_mel and Joey. Anywhere from 1-3 photos is appropriate IMO. To send more photos would be kind of greedy.

I also believe that sending 1-3 photo's is appropriate. Sending too many photo's might make the celebrity believe that you might be one of those people who only want to autographs to sell on EBAY. And, believe you me, there are people who write to celebrities & send a lot of pictures who only want to sell them on EBAY.

I do autograph collecting for fun & not for money but there are people who only do autograph collecting to sell them on EBAY.

I have sent four once ( to Edward Speleers) because it was my seventh request and I was starting to get frustrated.

I do agree with other members that anywhere from 1-3 is an appropriate number.

why send more than one anyway?
Sending more than one photo to be signed just seems like your wanting to sell them on ebay or something.
