The new price structure only applies to domestic UK mail, i.e. post sent from one UK address to another. The only people it will therefore affect are collectors based in the UK and writing to celebs in the UK.
I forget to mention that :lol:

Hi Volante {up}

Overseas postage from the UK has not changed at all :D

See here for my post on the new price structure: http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?t=14167

The cost of overseas post is still based entirely on weight, and not size.

Provided you attach enough value of stamps, it doesn't matter which ones you use (either the old ones or the new bigger ones!). You could use 44 1p stamps if you like :lol:

Hope this helps!
Ian :mrgreen:

Thanks Mailman! =)

Now I don't need to worry about my ordinary SASEs!

Since you wasn't absolutely sure, I wonder if anyone else now about this other bigger envelope?

Hey Volante {up}
For the normal envelopes that aren't oversized, do I still need some special new/modern stamp? Or can I just add different/old/normal stamps of different values to cover the postage price (0.44/0.64£)?
If it isn't 'oversized' then any normal stamps will do :wink:
Also, before this change I sent a larger envelope which was oversized (A4 size envelope) but I just put ordinary stamps of different values on that one too. If say, the stamps I put on covers the new cost/postal price, will the envelope reach me? Or does this oversized need that large stamp?
I'm not entirely sure but I think it has to be the large new stamp. . . :?

I've read info about the recent change in UK about the stamps and postal prices... If an envelope is oversized (over C5+a bit more) it will cost more or have a special big stamp on it...?

Sorry but I didn't get this... Some questions here and I hope someone can answer them! :D

Thanks
