Hi babird1 :D

Welcome to the forum!!

Just as a general rule, 1 IRC will cover the minimum cost of sending an air mail letter overseas. This is generally the equivalent of sending one of those standard-sized envelopes.

As to how many IRC's you need to send, this will depend on what sized SAE (self addressed envelope) you decide to send.

If you're sending one of those standard sized envelopes, 1 IRC will be sufficient to have the envelope returned to you.

If you're sending a larger envelope (such as a 9x12 inch) in anticipation of a larger photo (such as a 8x10 inch photo), you'll need to send 2 IRC's (3 recommended).

I hope this helps. Should you have any more queries, please don't hesitate to ask!
