It depends: sometimes are secretarials, sometimes pp or sometimes autopen or authentics :)

Hi firefan :D
When I send my own pictures to be signed or autographed, and they come back signed, is the autograph real??
When you send out a picture and it comes back signed, it may or may not be real. It can be:

- Authentic
- Secretarial
- Stamped
- Autopenned

The best way to know whether it's real or not is to have a look at some known authentic autographs of that particular celebrity - and see whether the autographs are similar or not.

Every signature you (or anyone else) signs will be slightly different ... but pretty much the same (it will never be identical). Stamped and Autopenned photos will have identical autographs - so they can be easily identified as the autographs will be the same (although they may not be in the same spot).

Authentic and secretarial autographs are a little harder to distinguish - especially if a secretary manages to sign identical autographs to the celebrity's autograph. Again, you'll have to compare to known authentic autographs and see how different/the same your autograph is.

There's a good chance that they are authentic.

But unless we witness the signing for ourselves, there's always a (tiny) possibility that it could be secretarial. It really depends on the celebrity. Some are known to send out authentics, others may have rumours (or confirmation) of secretarial autographs.

2.) When the pictures I sent have a personalization and autograph, different on both pictures and in different places, does that mean the autographs are real from the actuall celebrity??
