It probably won't be too bad if you send it now, as whomever receives the letter will probably hold it for you.

However, normally I would suggest that if you send to a movie set at the start of filming - aim to have it arrive on or after they will start (i.e. on or after the 18th).

Is sending something VV on the 11th too early if filming starts on the 18th? By the way, I'm sending to Tom Hank's new film, Charlie Wilson's War. Thanks {up}
